This online course is for the acidified certificate for Better Process Control School (BPCS). Food manufacturers processing low acid or acidified foods must operate with a supervisor who has attended BPCS. Once registered, you will be emailed instructions for course registration and will receive the 9th edition of Canned Foods- Principles of Thermal Process Control, Acidification and Container Closure Evaluation in the mail. The material taught in this course corresponds to the acidified track chapters in that book. Please make sure to input your address correctly when registering so the book can be shipped to the correct location. The course is taught over Canvas using a series of videos to cover the material each chapter. The course is self-paced. Participants must pass each training module with a score of at least 70% to move on to the next section.

This course is specific to the acidified track of Better Process Control School. Each chapter has a test, and a minimum score of 70% is required in order to proceed to the next section.
