This volume comprises papers from the Fifth Henry D. Green Symposium for the Decorative Arts held at the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens, Ga., on January 29 and 30, 2010. The theme "Neighboring Voices" emphasizes the richness of southern material culture within as well as outside Georgia. Topics include the development of the collection of objects from Georgia at the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, Limoges china, painted furniture, Alabama pottery, the silversmith Rev.
